Description

MUST BE BASED IN GREATER MANCHESTER FOR LOCAL DELIVERY 

Ideally you don’t have ‘managed wifi’/a network where you sign in through a portal (if you live in a flat).

Background:

Brother have created a new ‘Brother for home’ section on their website which groups together 3 core product areas for their customers: 

● Work-from-home/Small Business owners (N/A for this brief)

● Organisers

● Creatives/Crafters

 

Up to now, the positioning of each of their areas has been separate, and they’ve talked to these audiences differently. Now, these three areas will be combined under one umbrella area of the website. 

Approach:

When there’s work to be done, you need the tools you have to work brilliantly every time, without fail. They need to be a blessing, not a burden. 

 

With Brother, you can be sure that your printer/labeller isn’t going to hold you back. 

 

Brother products are:

We need to demonstrate how seamlessly these products allow your daily life to flow. The content should be inspiring and make users excited to use Brother products. We should also focus on the ease of use, the ability to fit easily into the home and the joy / happiness a printer / label machine can bring.

Requirements: 

  • Show products in a home environment
  • Show products fitting into day-to-day life with ease
  • Show a mix of printing via app, PS and stand-alone product

Optional (but would be nice to have):

  • Labels with easy to understand English text

[With Voiceover] We need to display how Brother for home products make life flow more easily, across different areas of the home (home office, crafting space, kitchen). 

Please ensure these areas of the home are free from clutter and other branded products. 

We want this to feel super aspirational to our audience, so please ensure your home and actions represent this. 

Hook: How a day in my life flows better with Brother.

Content Direction 

(Please note: this is for guidance only - ensure examples are in-line with your usual day to day life so they feel natural to you performing them)

We need to clearly show the action (e.g. to do list printing) and the action (e.g. sticking to fridge)

Please aim for around 3 applications of printer and 3 applications of labeller, but the key to this content is to feel natural and authentic to you and your daily life.

For Labeller: 

  • Labelling jars/containers in kitchen (cupboards, fridge, freezer) (showing transition from cluttered to organised)
  • Adding a name badge/personalisatio to a lunch box/school
  • Organising crafting supplies into labelled drawers/boxes
  • Organising storage room/wardrobes / 
  • (For creators with children) Organising children’s crafts/toys with labels

 

For Printers:

  • Creating & printing event invitations, event tickets, flight boarding passes
  • Printing a planner (office, or meal) and showing it’s use in the home e.g. sticking to fridge
  • (For creators with children) Printing colouring pages/handwriting practice pages/homework and showing use in the home

 

Use royalty-free music and please supply version without music. 

Where possible, please include long clips (with limited cuts) as these will be edited into different lengths of video in post-production. (not raw footage, each clip in the video should just flow naturally without quick cuts)

Additional information

These videos will be translated (with different language voice overs) so please make sure each scene isn’t too quick and you are not talking to camera. The voice overs will follow exactly what you are saying in English, nothing will be fabricated. 

When Brother products are shown, please ensure the logo is within the shot and faced in the correct direction.

Please wear neutral, appropriate clothing (with no brand logos, words, or recognisable pictures visible) and have clean hands/fingernails. Any other branded products used in the video should not be recognisable. Please do not mention any other brands in the video.

No personal details/sensitive information should be visible/mentioned. Must follow GDPR practices. 

You will need to sign to agree the products will be returned to Brother at the end of the project.
