Additional Points to Highlight:
Liha Beauty is a UK-based, black-owned business rooted in African heritage.
Shea butter and Idan oil are versatile, multi-use products suitable for hair, skin, lips, and nails.
Highlight the Tuberose scent and the natural, floral aroma of the products.
Liha Beauty is the luxury heritage beauty brand of the future. We like our skin to glow. We have pioneered a new beauty category bringing Yoruba philosophy of self care and natural African beauty rituals into our modern life. Our products are like our co-founders Liha and Abi, a combination of Nigerian and British heritage. Our tried and tested formulations mix natural African and English ingredients to create a unique, powerful, natural, multi-purpose offering that radiates unexpected luxury, gaining a cult following out of London.
You will be showcasing our IDAN OIL: Idan is the Yoruba word for magic, which is the only word to describe our sublime moisturising oil. Made with natural, cold-pressed coconut oil into which a Tuberose flower has been immersed, ensuring the wonderful scent of this night-blooming flower is absorbed naturally into the oil by a traditional African process of enfleurage. As well as smelling divine, the night-blooming tuberose flower found in our Idan oil has a sweet heady fragrance, it’s long been believed to have powerful aphrodisiac properties. A non-greasy nourishing formula with anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties absorbs into skin giving a luxurious glow and indulgent sensory experience.
Plus, our SHEA BUTTER: Our unrefined, unprocessed raw Nigerian Shea butter is the ultimate African beauty secret. Its potency lies in its naturally high concentration of vitamin A and E as well as it’s antioxidant properties that can help improve texture of skin. Gold Shea butter is multi-purpose moisturiser for all skin types with deep moisturising properties to help heal and repair cracked, dry, irritated skin for a healthy glow.
We'd like our creators to create a "go-to-bed-with-me" style video where they appear to be getting ready for bed. The creators should be seen in their robes or night gear, discussing how the colder weather affects their skin and emphasising the importance of hydration. They should share how they've now discovered products that keep their skin moisturised during this time.

LIHA comprises individuals who craft beauty products embodying a blend of natural African heritage and quintessentially British sensibilities.
One of us originates from Gloucestershire, while the other is a true Londoner. Our partnership commenced during our university days in 1998 and has endured since. While one of us pursued a career as a professional athlete, competing in multiple Olympic games, the other ventured into the world of art publishing and embraced the quieter aspects of life, raising a daughter. Our paths often intersected in London or during instances when one traveled for warm weather training and the other attended trade shows in sunnier locales.
Drawing from the Yoruba (Nigerian) tradition, which emphasizes the art of crafting beautifying oils, soaps, and lotions from locally abundant nuts, tree bark, and plants, we integrated our expertise. With one founder's English aromatherapist mother influencing her, and the other bringing back ingredients, including premium Nigerian Shea from her father's hometown during travels, LIHA's journey began to take shape.
Our initial soft launch aimed to introduce the natural beauty community to our unique concept, and since then, the response has been overwhelming. LIHA expresses gratitude for the journey thus far and extends thanks to our supporters for joining us along the way.
