We start with a person who’s been out for the night (has some light but visable makeup on) arrives at home and shows their double cleansing routine while pointing to text that debunks common double cleansing myths.
Note: double cleansing here does not refer to doing your routine twice. It refers to using the micellar water first and then using the hydrating deep cleanser.
Some key notes to hit:
- double cleansing isn’t just using the same cleanser twice; oil cleansing is NOT just for acne-prone skin;
- double cleansing doesn’t necessarily strip skin of moisture;
- double cleansing is useful even if you didn’t wear makeup or sunscreen that day;
- double cleansing doesn’t have to be overly complicated.

Please do not wear any branded clothing and avoid excessive jewellery. Less is more with makeup, unless the brief specifically calls for specialty makeup looks. if possible, nails should be clean and natural looking (colour and length)
