Description

We’d like an ASMR unboxing video. Please make sure to focus on the following: High quality audio, a variety of shots (please do not exclusively record the video from one angle) including up-close detail shots of the beer & packaging, as well as wider unboxing shots. We’re imagining that this video won't include any faces, with the focus being more on the quality of the shots and the ASMR sound.

Script/Description of Scenes

NOTE: Please don’t feel limited to only the suggested shots below, if you have particular ideas that you think could work well, we’d love to see them. Ideally, we’d be able to stitch the different clips together and shorten/rearrange them using an editing software. Please use LINK 1 as a best in class example of the style of video we'd like.

NOTE FOR HOOK: We'd like the video to loop. With shot 1 and the final shot being the same clip. For clarity we've added 'first shot' and 'final shot' next to eachother in the brief.

Shot suggestions:

LOOPED HOOK:

First Shot: Picking up a full glass of beer (POV style shot, ideally with camera placed as if it were at eye level, looking down at the beer). 

Final Shot: Pouring a chilled bottle of Lucky Saint into a glass (POV style). Therefore the loop would be shot: pouring the beer into glass --> picking up the full glass of beer.

Shot 1: Box sliding into frame 

Shot 2: Opening the box - important to capture the sound of this for the ASMR

Shot 3: Detailed shots of the box (it’s a premium-looking box, please get some shots of the box where the camera is on a tripod/static, and you simply twist the box/pick it up) - a good example of this style of shot is available in LINK 2 (@mrdrowlands)

Shot 4: Removing the beer from the box + admiring the bottle

Shot 5: Close-up of the beer labelling (the golden ladybird is a nice feature to focus on, please also point out the calories, 0.5% alcohol)

Shot 6: Cracking open the bottle - important to capture the sound of this for the ASMR

Shot 7: Pouring the lager into a glass (please get a few shots of this, one wider one where you can see the whole glass, and a close-up of the beer fizzing) - important to capture the sound of this for the ASMR

Shot 8: Focus on the beer: Please hold the beer up to the light and show the golden colour of the beer.

Shot 9: Please get a shot of you spinning the box quickly on the table - as show in LINK 2 of the examples.

DOs:

-Have high quality audio

-Have a tidy background with good lighting (no mess in background please)

-Include a mixture of detail shots (close up of the beer fizzing, close up of the chilled ice-cold bottle, close up of the labelling) and wider shots (of the whole unboxing experience)

-Include different angles (please don’t stick to a singular angle like in the example videos, we’d like some variety)

-Experiment with different angles (for example, a POV shot would be a great addition to the unboxing video)

-pour the beer into a nice, non-branded clean glass (we’ll send you your very own Lucky Saint Glass - no need to record unboxing footage of the glass).

-If poured out, beer must have a head. Ideally 1-1.5cm. The glass must be full. No flat looking, tiny lacklustre heads.

DONT:

  • Have too much head on the beer when it’s poured out (about one centimeter should do)
  • Have any other brands in shot
  • Display any barcodes on packaging
