Scene 1: Have the Q+A products organised on the side of the basin or arranged inside over sink cupboard, so it can be opened to reveal the products. 

Start with you walking into the bathroom, heading away from the camera but towards the sink. Have the camera positioned to capture your reflection in the mirror above the sink. Then open the cupboard containing skincare products, or if products are on the side of the sink, begin scene 2. 

Scene 2 - A couple of short clips of your skin from a few different angles, some more zoomed in than others to clearly capture the texture and dryer patches to accurately represent this skincare regime is for combination skin. Gently trace your fingers over the areas of skin that get drier on your face, for example, around the nose, chin ect. Then do the same action for areas of skin that get oilier on your face, for example t-zone ect. To clearly show how your skin is combination and so others can relate to this. 

Scene 3 - Close up shot of picking up the Niacinamide Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser from the shelf/side, showing it to the camera so front of product can clearly been seen. Then squeezing a coin sized amount in your hand to show the texture/consistency. (Please see inspiration video for reference on best angle for this). 

Scene 4 – Camera flipped so it’s facing you, but at a slight side angle so you’re not looking directly into it (Please see inspiration video for reference). Product applied to your face, massaged in, then washed off using a flannel. 

Scene 5 – (Same camera angle as scene 3) - Close up shot of picking up the Azelaic Acid Serum from the shelf/side, showing it to the camera so front of product can clearly been seen. Pump the product 2-3 times so the product runs down the side of the jar and texture can be seen. 

Scene 6 – (Same camera angle as scene 4) – Apply 3 pumps of product to your face, one on either cheek, another on chin/forehead. Then work into skin using hands to rub in until absorbed. 

Scene 7 -  (Same camera angle as scene 3) - Close up shot of picking up the Ceramide Face Cream from the shelf/side, showing it to the camera so front of product can clearly been seen. Scoop about a coin sized amount out of the jar to show the texture of the product. 

Scene 8 - (Same camera angle as scene 4) – Apply to your face distributing evenly. Rub in using your hands until full absorbed.

Scene 9 - (Same camera angle as scene 3) - Close up shot of picking up the Niacinamide  SPF 50 Balancing Daily Sunscreen. Pump 2-3 pumps of the product so it clearly shows the texture of the product as it slides down the exterior of the tube. 

Scene 10 - (Same camera angle as scene 4) – Pump 2-4 pumps of product into your hand then distribute evening across your face, to then rub in until full absorbed. 

Scene 11 - (Same camera angle as scene 2) – Show off your skin in the mirror, looking happy with the results, moving head side to side to show off different angles. Before walking out of shot to end the video.

  • As there are several different angles specified in the brief, please film all clips from one angle first, then switch to the second angle, to ensure the video looks as smooth as possible. Then put these together in the right order to reflect the story board in post-production. For example, please film all clips of the product application together, then move the camera angle and film all clips of products in front of the cupboard/on bathroom surface.
