We’d like to get across the feeling that everyone is talking about these weird little bars. One Good Thing bars are a bit strange. They’re a bit like Naked bars, but without the plastic wrapper. Instead, they have a 100% edible, natural coating (made mostly out of beeswax) – all with the mission to make it easy (and tasty) to do One Good Thing towards reducing your plastic waste.
Some people ask us – is it like eating the babybel, with the red bit on? In concept…kind of, but not in taste! Some people can’t get their heads around how strange this concept is and we’d like some content that plays into that.
It can be a “live reaction” e.g I have heard so much about these bars and they seem to be a bit marmite so I had to give them a go”
One Good Thing bars are oat based snacks that come in either a snack or a protein range. A bit like Nakd bars – but the difference is, they’re actually naked. They are the world’s first wrapper-free snack and protein bars with a 100% natural, edible coating. So a little bit like an apple, you just pick them up, give them a quick rinse if you wanted to, and eat them. The coating works exactly like a plastic wrapper, keeping the bars tasty and fresh inside. They’re full of flavour and an easy (and tasty) swap to help reduce your plastic waste and impact on the planet.
We sell them through our website weareogt.com direct to customer. You can order a one off box or subscribe and save 30%.
Happy for you to tweak the script to what feels natural but this is the base. It’s essentially got to be a ‘I’m trying this product for the first time’ reaction video and the content needs a lot more energy/stronger reactions than the example I provided (it’s the only one I could find quickly!)
Visuals: Please show the bars and show yourself eating one, show the inside of the bar.

HOOK:
Scene: pick up the box (so the branding can be seen at the front)
“Everyone has been talking about these weird little bars and I had to give one a try.
BODY: So my understanding is One Good Thing bars are the world’s first wrapper-free snack and protein bars. They don’t have a plastic wrapper AT ALL and are instead covered in a completely natural coating that keeps the bars fresh, and you also eat that part! They’re basically an oat bar and come in a bunch of different flavours, delivered straight to my door. So here we go.”
Essentially needs to be a positive reaction – strange at first, so weird to not unwrap something but you like it. Full of flavour, can taste all the oats and fruits, feels like something that would fill you up. Will definitely eat the rest/ 10/10 and try it before you knock it!

One Good Thing is home to the world’s first wrapper-free snack and protein bars. Yep, that’s right – no wrapper. Think of them just like an apple – you simply rinse (if you want to!) and eat. Instead of a traditional plastic wrapper, our oaty snack bars are covered in a 100% natural, edible coating, made mostly out of beeswax. This special coating protects your bars, keeping them tasty and fresh.
Why bother making such a weird little bar, we hear you say…Well, we’re huge fans of the planet. In fact, we’d say we’re pretty reliant on it and we’d like it to stay! But having big dreams of saving the planet can feel a little daunting, and some people don’t know where to start. That’s why One Good Thing was created, to make it easy to do just One Good Thing to help reduce our impact on the planet, by swapping out your not-so-naked bar for an OGT bar.

We write how we speak – casual, optimistic, humorous. Whilst we have big dreams, we’re humble and realise that our OGT bars aren’t the solution to saving the planet. They are simply One Good Thing to help reduce plastic waste. Our brand is all about the positivity effect – doing something good, feels good and encourages others to do something good, too!
