Project Summary
The Brief
Montage of a person’s experience traveling on a plane highlighting the relatable situation of forgetting to download entertainment for the flight. Spotify’s newest feature will then save the day. This compilation will include establishing shots navigating through the airport, to their seat on the plane. Once arrived in seat there’s a realization and a brief moment of panic when realizing you forgot to download any music on Spotify. Fortunately, once the app is opened, Offline Backup appears. Additional montage footage will be picked up at the person’s destination as they’ve landed and leave the airport happy.

Spotify’s New Offline Backup Feature - Spotify is releasing a brand new feature called “Offline Backup” that automatically download a select number of songs to be played offline when you’ve forgotten to download music prior to being in a situation with no phone service or going on airplane mode.
Elevator Pitch - Imagine you’re enjoying a great Spotify session, and suddenly the music stops. "Dammit!" you think. You forgot to download anything for the flight; you're stuck in a Wi-Fi dead zone, or maybe you’re driving in the countryside and have lost connection.
Now imagine a new playlist magically appears—surfacing all the songs you didn’t even know were stored right there on your device. Suddenly, there’s music back on, and you’re smiling ear to ear because Spotify took care of the moment for you. This is all done automatically in the background without any prior preparation. The tracks you’ll find in the list are tracks that are available in Spotify’s device cache, so no additional bandwidth or storage space is required :)
The content is for Raw Footage only which we will be used to create 1 video.
Our character will take various selfie and POV shots of themselves and their partner navigating the airport to their seat on the plane. Once seated, they’ll open Spotify and listen to Offline Backup throughout their flight. This will be explained through a voice over or captions. We’ll see shots of an “Offline Backup screen recording” on their phone, displaying the product and UI. We’ll return to a selfie shot of them jamming to music happy and content.

For the Voice Over…. Note that this is done off camera with your “voice notes app”. We’ll be adding the voice over over the top of the footage. Please ensure that you record the voice over in a quiet room with little echo. A small closet with clothing around to absorb echo is always a good option! Please ensure that your voice over is 25 seconds or less in length.
