Project Summary
The Brief
The content creator will need two phones. One to film the scene on a tripod and another phone to play a game while talking.
These videos will be a mixture of promoting the game and filming current trends on TikTok.
- Each videos needs to be maximum 20 secondes
- We will be editing this content in-house, so no need for to you to do this!
- These videos will be sitting on King’s digital channels so we need a fun and engaging performance!
- King want these videos to feel natural and authentic to TikTok.

Setting: Creator intently looking at a book, magazine or papers (taking care not to show the cover/title).

Setting: Our gameplay gets removed from the background and we go back to full screen of our creator.
Just for the script, you don't need to edit your videos, for example sometimes it says "New message bubble appears on screen" these are things we'll do in post-production. There's no need to use subtitles. We've left it in there so you can envision how the final result will be!
Reminders:
- Please read your scripts below and note the props you will need. Many scripts require an additional phone that you keep in your hand. If your phones logo is on show, please can you cover this with either your hand or a plain phonecase.
- Please record in a well-lit room (natural lighting preferable) and your surroundings are quiet.
- As we will be editing this in-house, please record one continuous take without lots of cuts. We won’t need any subtitles or alterations added to the video - we will do this ourselves!
- Ideally, the phone that you use to record with will be placed on a tripod to keep it stable. Please shoot in portrait mode only.
- Please can you also send us a clean shot of your background without you in it. This is so we can scale you down in post-production if needed and add gameplay behind you etc. I.e., please set up the take as if you’re about to record yourself but just step out of frame for around 10 seconds.
- Please shoot wide and avoid any close up shots unless specified in the script. The closest frame that we would suggest would be from the waist up.
- Please avoid wearing clothes that might match your background, for example a red top with a red wall behind you! Please avoid wearing any heavily branded clothing or stripes.
- If you have trouble remembering the text, don't hesitate to use a teleprompter app on your phone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JqY75DJ_Ww . Please note that we want these to feel as natural as possible and not appear as if you are reading a script
- If possible, please send us 2-3 takes for us to select from for each script.
