The Brief

Description

We'd like you to create a video based on the German Inspiration linked below, showing some common struggles parents are facing when teaching their kids the correct toothbrushing technique. We have a specific brief for hooks that worked well, and ideas for scenes you can create with your kids while using the smart sonic toothbrush and mobile app with 13 interactive games, a toothbrushing coach and Dayo, the dragon. 

Note: we do need the video to work in Story (9:16) and Feed (4:5) Format, please keep that in mind when using text elements or captions (nothing important top and bottom when filming). Also, nothing of the main action should be outside the safe space.

GUM Playbrush recently launched its products under its new name and as part of the Sunstar GUM company, which provides all kinds of dental hygiene products. GUM Playbrush makes sonic toothbrushes for Kids (3+) and Juniors (6+) that connect to an app, where kids can play games, use a brushing coach and also care for their friend “Dayo”, the dragon. The product sells on its own with a 30-day-free trial period for the app, after that you pay for premium access. For this briefing we focus on kids above 6 years of age.

Hook: Hook 1: Always the same thing when it comes to brushing their teeth. Drama is guaranteed. (Your child may refuse to brush, look annoyed or throw a tantrum in the bathroom. Script: I recently discovered GUM Playbrush and ordered it for my child / children. (Show the packaging before unboxing. Close-up shot of the brush, especially the soft bristles.)

With 13 interactive games, they learn the proper toothbrushing technique playfully and are fully motivated every time. And the best part: they brush thoroughly! (Show the app screen, scroll through the apps. Film your kids while playing a game. Close-up shot of your phone screen while a game is played. Film your kids and capture their excitement while playing.)

The brushing coach guides my child exactly so that no teeth are forgotten. The COI method, recommended by dentists, is playfully taught. (Have your child brushing teeth and the app screen with the brushing coach in view. Show a close-up of the app screen while its playing.)

The analysis shows exactly how thoroughly he/she brushes. Unpleasant surprises at the dentist are now a thing of the past. The drama in the bathroom has finally come to an end. (Show the analysis function. Do this after using the app and brushing coach a few times so there is data to be shown.)

Now, "child's name" only wants the GUM Playbrush toothbrush. (Front view Close-up shot of your child while brushing, focus on the mouth. Similar shot, this time not brushing but your child is smiling and showing off their clean teeth.)

Additional information
