Main Concept
Script/Description of Scenes

Please create a script that is natural and authentic to you! Key USPs to mention and at what point have been outlined below, so please incorporate these into your script.

Hook: Feel free to come up with your own! (Show the product).                                           

Scene 2: Snap shots of outer packaging and cup inside packaging in quick succession.

Scene 3: Making a coffee in the cup either from a coffee machine, V60, aeropress or something similar. Smart-looking coffee machine would be fab. Coffee to be either black or if milky please make it with oat milk (minor figures or oatily preferred if in shot). 

OR if this can’t be achieved at home, this scene can be swapped to getting a coffee at a cool independent cafe, passing the cup to a barista, seeing the coffee poured into the cup, barista giving cup back with coffee inside, you walking out the coffee shop with the coffee cup. 

Voiceover:

  • Focus in on features (most important: ceramic internal coating, lid clicks to open and close, can drink from any side of the lid, leakproof, keep your drink hot for hours. 
  • Less important:  texture on outside, side indentations making it comfy to hold, fits in car cup holders, non-slip bottom).

Scene 4: show how the cup colours can be customised by changing colours of the lid parts. Eg green cup base, purple lid outer and green lid cap.

Voiceover:

  • Mention the cups being available in 4 trendy colours and 3 sizes (8oz for flat whites, 12oz for lattes and 16oz for long days!). 

Scene 5: out in town, drinking from the coffee cup with the lid on (click the lid and drink). 

Scene 6: end of the day, taking lid off cup and unscrewing lid into 3 parts, giving quick clean to show how simple it is to clean, maybe stick lid in dishwasher top rack. 

*Include on-screen subtitles in the scenes.

VISUAL GUIDELINES

  • For scenes in the home, we are looking for an aesthetic which is modern and minimal, japanese/scandi-esque really suits our brand. 
  • For outside scenes, city scapes and trendy high streets as well as a bit of nature would work really well. Clothing-wise, think Shorditch, Brighton, Bristol, Manchester and the like....smart/casual and a bit hipster.

  1. We put a compostable protection bag around the cups when shipping, but please remove these for any shots showing the packaging. Photo of shot ready cup in packaging attached.
  2. Don’t worry about the Hook Line in our brief as we don’t like it after hearing so many videos using it! Happy to go with anything that sounds natural. (Any ideas on what to use which may sound more authentic?)
  3. Regarding using the lid, we included a leaflet with a QR code. Have a look through this and scan the QR code to watch the videos as it will help you understand how the lid works and how to take it apart and put together again. (Don’t include the leaflet in the shots though as we soon won't be using it due to changing the lid mechanism slightly).
  4. We included blue and purple 12oz cups & a spare green lid. In one of the scenes we’d like to show how the lid and base colours can be customised. We'd like to show purple cup with green lid and blue cup with purple lid. Photos of these combos attached. We do also have 8oz and 16oz but 12oz is the best seller (the lids are universal and fit all sizes).

  • Add engaging captions to your video! remember to submit the version with and without!
  • Keep it lively and energetic - we want to encourage the audience!

  • Don't sound like you're reading off a script
