The Brief
For our next paid social campaign, we want to:
- Make our audience aware that Scribe is here to offer an upgraded way to show people how to do things. Our audience is still battling with outdated methods such as ‘writing a list’ or ‘taking screenshots and writing up instructions on a document’.
- We want to highlight to users that Scribe is the far superior alternative for creating guides, both for the person who has the knowledge, but also for the person who has to follow them and learn.

Outfit - Smart Casual
Direction - Keep it friendly and conversational, as if talking to a friend. Although scripted, try to keep the delivery as natural as possible, with high energy to keep our audience interested.

1) Script - “Step One - Go to scribehow.com, sign up and download the chrome extension”
Demo Actions:
- Temporarily show ‘step one’ as text overlay on the screen as you say it in the script, then remove. Make sure the text is visible)
- Show yourself on the scribe homepage and then show yourself on the chrome extension page clicking download
2) Script - “Step Two - Click start capture and do the thing you’ve been asked to demonstrate, like removing a filter in google sheets. I go into Google Sheets, do the steps required to remove the filter, and click stop capture. Then, like magic, Scribe instantly creates a step by step guide showing how to complete the task”

- Show ‘step two’ as text overlay on the screen as you say it, then remove in the same way as step one.
- Make it clear that you’ve hit ‘start capture’, show some of the steps then ‘stop capture’ before giving an overview of the completed Scribe’
